Shangri-La Frontier: An anime like Sword Art Online (but much better)

An anime you won’t regret watching if you ever enjoy gaming. Check out Shangri-La Frontier.

An anime for casual and hardcore gamers. I’ve never enjoyed watching an anime so much without stress or flirting with death.

Everything happens in video games.

Especially a game that arouses a lot of curiosity and excitement that could remind us of our childhood and emotions when faced with games.

This is Shangri-la frontier.

Shangri-La Frontier: An anime like Sword Art Online (but much better)

The anime Shangri-La Frontier takes the concepts of SAO (Sword Art Online) better and much less dramatic on certain subjects.

If you want a video game anime that makes you feel like you’re playing a game without any drama or philosophical themes beyond the video game theme, you’ve come to the right place.

Shangri-La Frontier synopsis

Shangri-La Frontier follows Rakuro Hizutome, a gamer who enjoys beating the worst, buggy (“turd”) video games under his alias Sunraku.

After completing a particularly challenging game, his game store owner recommends he try Shangri-La Frontier, a popular virtual reality (VR) game.

Sunraku enters with his eagle-masked avatar, and discovers that all the skills he’s learned from playing imperfect games prove surprisingly useful in this gaming world with 30 million registered players.
