So far, there is no news about the trailer and the possible production of the Goblin Slayer anime season 3.
It must be recognized that before the release of season 2 and the film which takes place just after season 1, the producers were not very communicative about the launch of the animation.
Goblin Slayer is based on a light novel of the same name with 16 volumes in total.
Which volume should I start the light novel with after season 2?
I usually highly recommend reading the original work, but according to the reviews, it’s not for everyone. Let me explain:
- The author draws heavily on references from Dungeons and Dragons games to tell his story. If you don’t know anything about them, you’ll be lost!
- The quality of the writing is not appreciated by some readers.
- The author didn’t take the time to develop the environment in which the scenes take place. I’m talking about world building. Which makes it a little difficult to project yourself.
Although the story is very interesting, the content isn’t for everyone. If you’re serious about reading the light novel, it’s best to start from the beginning because the anime’s arcs are a bit out of sync with the original work.
To better enjoy the work, I recommend reading the manga, which better describes the gore and tension of the events. I personally haven’t started reading it, but according to my research, it’s the best way to enjoy the work.
Which chapter should I start the manga with after season 2?
The anime is narrated out of order compared to the manga. Therefore, it is recommended to read the work from the beginning. In addition, many story arcs were skipped in the anime.
