HBO max announced in its youtube channel by a trailer the release of MORTAL KOMBAT.
We all knew Mortal Kombat, either in the form of game or in the form of film whose music and choreography of fights rocked our childhood. This year 2021, there will be a new film from the series which this time is not made for those under 18. It is no longer a question of adaptation for all audiences like Sonic the hedgehog but more of a horror fight movie.

Mortal Kombat hits theaters April 16 and airs exclusively on HBO Max at 12:01 p.m. PT / 3:01 a.m. ET. Available on HBO Max in the US only at no additional cost to subscribers for 31 days from its theatrical release.
