Gollum's original release date is revealed. The new Lord of the Rings game will be released on May 25th.
We have known the movies of the lords of the rings and its games. I have not seen it yet The Hobbit but I guess this is the first time that we are interested in the story of Gollum, the character who followed the precious until the end.

What to expect on Gollum
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be an action-adventure game with the story of one of the secondary characters who marked the saga: Gollum.
The story of Gollum from the developer studio is based on the Lord of the Rings novel written by JRR Tolkiens.

My opinion
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is not the game that will attract me if I did not know the saga.
Personally Gollum is not a character that I would like to embody in a game, but maybe I will change my mind after seeing all the Lord of the Rings movies.
I will definitely play it for the story rather than the character.

According to this tweet, the reason for all these postponements joins my first hypothesis which is that the team is super passionate and wants to make a perfect and nickel game .
There's nothing wrong with that as long as the development hasn't been abandoned.
In my opinion, this last postponement will really be the last because the team seems to really decide to launch the game this year 2023 according to the rumors.
The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and for the Nintendo Switch.
