My unpopular and critical review of Valkyrie Apocalypse also called Shuumatsu no Walküre.
You have certainly heard of the manga Valkyrie Apocalypse but you may have never read it. If this is still your case, this may be a good opportunity to read this post before getting started.
Before seeing it I did some surveys, research on what Internet users who have already seen it thought.
What I noticed is that there are many negative reviews on the animation of this manga. These reviews almost discouraged me from seeing the anime.
I also found that the majority of people who negatively criticized the animation of this work started with the manga.
All agree to conclude that the anime Netflix of Valkyrie Apocalypse does not do enough honor to the original work.
Now the question that arises for those who want to discover it is should we see the anime or the manga first?
Time passed before I made a decision.
If you are afraid to watch the anime before the manga read this post before taking action. I did my best not to spoil anything in this post.
VALKYRIE APOCALYPSE SEASON 1 REVIEW (SPOILER FREE)- My unpopular review of this fighting anime Click to tweet
History of Record of Ragnarock
Every 1000 years, the council of the gods meets to decide the fate of humanity. After 7 million years of human history, the gods come to a decision that humans are irrecoverable and must be extinct.
However, the valkyrie Brunhild proposes that humanity be given one last chance to prove their worth and the gods agree on holding the Battle of Ragnarok, with 13 notable humans from all of history against 13 of the most powerful gods in history. engaging in duels to the death.
VALKYRIE APOCALYPSE SEASON 1 REVIEW
Before starting, I read the comments of people who said that this anime was not interesting at all. Everyone was talking about the poor quality of the animation as well as the lack of story.
Others complained that there is very little combat and the anime wastes a lot of time on dialogue.
In short, you will find a lot of people who criticize the animation in a negative way.
When I first started watching the animation, my first impression was markedly different from the majority.
My first impression Valkyrie apocalypse season 1
From the first 3 episodes I was hooked. I really liked how the story was straight to the point and he really took the time to introduce each fighter.
Frankly at the level of the series, we will never get tired of seeing how the human and opposing fighters are presented
The anime puts you very quickly in the mood of competition between divinity and humanity.
VALKYRIE APOCALYPSE has OSTs that, in my opinion, do justice to the atmosphere of the fights.
Many of us agree on the fight music that makes you forget the little flaws of anime.
Those who know me know that I can't see an entire anime with music that I don't like.
In our case, I can assure you that the music of the anime will immediately put you in the dramatic and intense atmosphere of the fights.
Fights whose outcome is very unpredictable.
The fights are very quickly intense and full of surprises accompanied by stories that precede or explain the abilities of the protagonists. (Probably what some reviewers didn't like.)
What I appreciate the most is the reversal of the situation that occurs on the side of the heroes.
What I don't like is of course the reversal of the opponent's situations.
There is really everything in the fights, but beware, the fights of Valkyrie Apocalypse can take a very cruel and hard to see turn.
It's Seinen for regulars.
If the anime is like that, I can't even imagine the manga.
The characters of VALKYRIE APOCALYPSE (without spoiler)
The anime characters are really very endearing, especially on the human side. Some will move you.
Don't underestimate the charisma of fictional characters.
Naturally we are attached to all the people who represent humanity and each fight is a source of tension.
Even the choices of adversaries and humans are sources of tension. Sometimes I feel under pressure right at the start of a fight.
The anime puts you in the competitive mood so well that you feel like you're on the show. The characters are also so charismatic that we manage to forget that they are fictional beings.
Again, don't underestimate the charisma of fictional characters.
I will avoid presenting here anime characters because knowing them is also a spoiler.
You will understand that from all that I have seen, I have not had time to notice the quality of the animation and of certain details that may be flaws.
The entertainment isn't fancy or flashy as some might expect.
What is good is that it does not prevent watching the anime. She's good enough to be seen and immersed in.
Personally the quality of the animation was the last thing that caught my attention because the story and the music were immersive enough to hook me.
Valkyrie Apocalypse – Should we start with the manga or the anime?
If you are discovering it for the first time, I will recommend you to see the anime first and then continue from the beginning with the manga.
That's what I intend to do.
Seriously I haven't found any low quality element people quoted in the anime comments.
I want to clarify that I did not watch the manga before seeing the Valkyrie Apocalypse anime.
I sincerely think that too many comments that find the anime to be bad were biased by the fact that the same people have already read the manga.
Many negative points cited on Valkyrie Apocalypse season 1 anime can be easily ignored. The anime is still fun to watch.
So should we start with the anime or the manga finally? In my opinion we start with the anime.
