Toofan: the best French-speaking artist
Durban TV Music Awards – The Togolese music group, Toofan, won on Saturday evening in Durban, in Africa du Sud, the MTV Music Awards in the category 'Best French-speaking artist', PANA learned from cultural sources this Sunday in Lomé.
The Togolese group Toofan, according to the verdict of the jury, stole the show from the famous Ivorian group 'Espoir 2000', Arielle T (Gabon), Ferre Gola (DRC) and Youssoupha (Congo) in the category 'Best francophone artist' .
It is a great victory and an international recognition for this group of young people, called Toofan, born in 2005 with the album 'Ogbragada'. Become famous, especially after the release of the albums which propel the dance 'Cool catché' and recently the movement 'Gwéta', very dancing and very popular among young people, Toofan is now part of the big leagues on the international music scene.
