Bayonetta is one of my favorite action games that I discovered after purchasing the Nintendo switch. This game created by the author of the franchise devil may cry describes with beauty and class the battle of fantastic adversaries.
If Devil May Cry, also called DMC by the regulars, focuses on caning demons, Bayonetta (of the month the very first) focuses on caning "angels". I promise you, there's nothing angelic about these 'angels' in the game.

The trailer reveals many parts of the gameplay and action still as intense as previous games in the franchise. There will be new powers and summons in Bayonetta 3.
After angels and demons, the new adversaries seem to be neither. Bayonetta 3 will be released on October 28, 2022 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

Other Bayonetta games already available
I take this opportunity to talk about previous Bayonetta games that I recommend testing before even playing Bayonetta 3.
It's true, that's a lot, but on my previous purchase, I was able to take advantage of a reduction by buying Bayonetta 1 & 2. I hope that when the last one comes out, they will do the same. I'll start in order of arrival from the franchise:
Bayonetta – 2009
I discovered Bayonetta on Nintendo Switch and this first game in the franchise has already seduced me. The remastered version for the Nintendo Switch is the best way for me to enjoy the game even though I personally didn't play the original release on Sega.
The first episode of this game seemed to me at first very extravagant but in the long run we end up completely forgetting ourselves in the action. Bayonetta is very intense at times and the more you progress the more you will be focused on the action.
I admit I was so focused on the action that I forgot a lot of the story. That's not to say Bayonetta's story isn't interesting. it means that Bayonetta is so immersive that you become part of the story.
If you decide to start the game with easy difficulty level, do not come and write to me that Bayonetta is not intense.
Bayonetta is available on Sega, Nintendo Switch, xbox360 and also on PC.
Bayonetta 2 – 2014
This game comes back with a great graphic improvement and very fluid animations compared to the first episode. Bayonetta 2 has taken the level of action and epic combat even further.
Everything is beautiful and even more intense. The story is even more polished than the previous one and brings various elements that complete the first episode.
We get to wonder which comes first, Bayonetta 1 or 2? it is the story of the chicken and the egg that I would not like to spoiler in this post.
Bayonetta 2 is a game that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to let off steam, without worrying too much about the details.

Will Bayonetta 3 come to PC, PS4 & PS5 and XBOX?
Bayonetta 3 is a game that will be released exclusively on Nintendo Switch. As of now there are no signs that this game will be released on PC or other consoles.
However, there is a franchise game that is available on almost all consoles, including PC. This is the very first Bayonetta. Since all other games in the franchise are exclusively dedicated to the Nintendo Switch.
Do you have to play Bayonetta 1 first?
To better enjoy the Game, I suggest that you have to play from the first episode.
The games in this series always remain intense and interesting from the beginning. If you start with the latest bayonetta, you might not have enough fun playing the very first one.
For example, the beauty of the graphics as well as the combat mechanics of Bayonetta 2 is very different, even more successful, than the very first game in the series. However, when I started with Bayonetta 1, I had a lot of fun playing it until the end.

Conclusion
Bayonetta 3 is one of the games that deserves all the attention of the gaming community… really what!!! The game will be released next October, in the meantime you can play the previous games of the franchise, which are really very interesting.
The first and the second Bayonetta, I can assure you that the graphics and the intensity of the fights are constantly improving.
I advise you to start with the first Bayonetta released on SEGA consoles before exporting to PC and other consoles. You won't be disappointed if you're a fan of games like Devil May Cry or God Of War.
