Log Horizon anime

Elder Tale is an online fantasy RPG that has become popular worldwide. But when its twelfth expansion pack, “Novasphere Pioneers”, is installed, thirty thousand players in Japan are trapped inside.

Among them is graduate student Shiroe, who isn’t very good at interacting with others. But to survive in a world full of monsters, he forms a guild called “Log Horizon” with an eclectic group of other players.

Overnight, the players are transported into their favorite Elder Tale games with no way back to reality. The non-player characters from the games have become real people with whom these heroes can interact.

Every day, the Log Horizon guild and other guilds join forces to find a way out of the game while maintaining a very fragile balance between themselves and the non-player characters of the game.

This Isekai genre anime already has 3 seasons at the time of writing this post.
