Is Made in Abyss season 2 the sequel to season 1?
The Golden City of the Scorching Sun anime comes after the Made in Abyss movie 3 event titled dawn of the deep soul .
First the appellation season 2 is a misnomer because there is a movie to watch just before starting this new series.

The TV anime “Made in Abyss Retsuhi no Koganekyo” started from July 6, 2022 in Japan!
Directly after the events of Made in Abyss – Movie 3 – The dawn of the soul from the depths , the third installment of Made in Abyss covers Reg, Riko and Nanachi's adventure in the sixth layer, the incandescent city of gold.
Opening and ending music
