Made in Abyss is one of the anime that I will recommend to all drama and adventure fans.
I haven't read the manga yet but the anime does not disappoint in terms of animation, music, story and even horror.

Anime Made in abyss season 2 – retsuhi no koganekyo
Directly after the events of Made in Abyss – Movie 3 – The dawn of the soul from the depths , the third installment of Made in Abyss covers Reg, Riko and Nanachi's adventure in the sixth layer, the capital of the unreturned or the city of gold.
I watched all season 2 of the anime made in abyss, and I assure you, the drama, the emotion and the fights are always there.
Anime Made in Abyss - Synopsis
A huge system of pits and caves called “Abyss” is the only unexplored place in the world.
Strange and wondrous creatures reside within its depths, and it abounds with precious relics, called Artifacts, that modern humans are unable to craft.
The mysteries of the Abyss fascinate humans and they head for exploration.
Adventurers who venture into the pit are known as "Sounders".
A little orphan named Riko lives in the town of Orth on the edge of the Abyss. Her dream is to become a Sounder like her mother and solve the mysteries of the cave system.
One day, Riko starts exploring the caves and discovers a robot that looks like a human boy.
Tempted by the mysteries of the Abyss, Riko and her new friend descend into uncharted territory to unravel its mysteries, but what awaits them in the darkness?
Anime Made in Abyss OST- soundtrack
When I first watched this anime, I was quickly hooked by its beautiful visuals. I was still unaware of its gore and dark aspect described without censorship.
What made me say "this anime is a masterpiece" from the first episode even before the entry into the subject, is the music.
This music that makes you understand that you are going to live a palpable and wonderfully traumatic adventure with extraordinary characters.
I don't know if you're going to consider it a spoiler or not, but frankly… I don't know either if you should listen to it before seeing the anime or the other way around.
In any case, I like to discover the anime before looking for their music. Well, I post it here. Listen to it at your own risk.

- Now you should definitely watch this anime. Quite possibly one of the best. You can see why it won anime of the year. Highly recommended. Season 2 is confirmed.
- You might think it's about little kids adventuring and giant monsters chasing them. But, it becomes horribly dark…
- The animation and soundtrack are just phenomenal: I haven't seen many animes with such smooth animation as the Ghibli movies and the soundtrack is just beautiful.
- Made in Abyss can accommodate almost anyone's anime tastes. I personally believe that Made in Abyss is an anime that will sound over time as one of the best classics to come out in recent years.

Made in Abyss the game: binary star falling into darkness
Yes, there is a game for Made in Abyss. As a gamer, I tell you right away that this is not really the game that I would recommend to everyone.
Not because it's not interesting, but the gameplay seems to be for those familiar with the genre and those who are ready to put up with the Abyss, as depicted in the anime.
The good thing is that they really stuck to the spirit of the anime in terms of gore and what might happen to you if you fail. What I like more is the new story of the game which seems to take place after the departure of our favorite heroes from the Abyss.
The game includes the story from the anime Made in Abyss
The story begins with Riko and Reg meeting in the first episode of the first season. This marks the beginning of their great adventure, and together they travel to Seeker Camp in the second layer of the Abyss.
Then a whole new story in the game – the real story of the game
Another story takes place several days after Riko and Reg leave for the Abyss.
The only unconquered chasm left in the world, the Abyss, is the stage where many adventures are born…and disappear. Those who appear in these stories are hypnotized by the power of the Abyss and aim for the bottom of the underworld.
The story about to be told is of the adventures of an unnamed Cave Raider in the Abyss. An original story, supervised by Akihito Tsukushi! , the author of the original Made in Abyss series.
Made in Abyss – order to watch
There are two ways to savor this work with a combination of film and series. To avoid getting lost, I recommend this reading order:
1- Made in Abyss season 1
The reason we're skipping movie 1 and 2 is that they're recaps of the Made in Abyss series. this is the best way for me to savor the anime.
After, if you have already seen the work you can follow the following order to prepare for season 2.

Is Made in Abyss a romance?
After seeing all the series so far, the Made in Abyss anime is far from a romance. The work is more leaning towards adventure, mystery and especially dark fantasy.
How old are the kids in Made in Abyss?
Riko, the main heroine is 12 years old despite appearances. I imagine the age range is 12-16 for any character that looks similar to the heroine.
Who is the villain or the boss in Made in Abyss?
In my opinion, it's the Abyss itself.
Is Riko's mother alive Made in Abyss?
The heroine herself asks herself the question. The manga, at the time of writing, hasn't revealed anything about his statue yet.
