AfroStream, the Netflix of Afro content

AfroStream, the Netflix of Afro content

Superman, Spiderman, Batman and all of the greatest superheroes we have known since childhood are unlike us. We Afro-descendants.

As a child, we try to identify with these heroes of series and films, but none of them really represent our realities and our experiences. Very little representation of people of Afro origin in the traditional media in France, in Europe but also in Africa.

It is following this bitter observation that Tonje bakang and his collaborators imagined Afrostream.

AFROSTEAM, it is a web platform that will now allow all lovers of African, African-American, Afro-French films and series to be able to enjoy themselves. Faced with the very unsatisfactory offer of this type of content, Afrostream is positioning itself as the solution to have access to Afro content everywhere, all the time, on any type of material (Pc, Mobile, Tablet…) with videos in HD, without intrusive ads and at a price below 10 euros monthly (no obligation)

The observation is simple: In France, 4 million people are of African descent, 10 million in Europe and Africa, there are a billion people who do not have qualitative offers today to watch Afro content.

AFROSTREAM also comes to respond to other problems: Today to access Afro content online, you must either download it illegally, or watch it via streaming with all the related problems (no subtitles, most films being in English, poor quality of videos, intrusive advertisements and pop ups ...)
